On July 13, 2021 Douglas County Deputies were checking a residence, located at 1749 Castle Ln, for suspected people with active arrest warrants. Deputies approached the residence and through a screen door they noticed William Olson, who had an active felony drug warrant. The deputy ordered Olson to put his hands up and come out but he slammed the door shut and retreated inside the residence. Deputies stayed outside the residence and waited for backup. While waiting for backup, deputies located Robinson, who had an active felony drug warrant, in a vehicle parked behind the residence. Deputies made entry into the residence to located Olson. While making entry, Porter was found in the kitchen area and taken into custody for multiple felony drug and other warrants. Deputies also located 8.5 grams of Methamphetamine on Porter. The residence was searched and Olson was later located in the attic hiding under the insulation. While deputies were at the residence they noticed stolen property and drug paraphernalia throughout the residence.
Douglas County Deputies along with the Alexandria Police Department executed a search warrant for narcotics and stolen property. During the search of the residence and a camper on the property, officers located Methamphetamine, stolen property and 3 firearms, one being an illegal sawed off shotgun.
