Are you looking for the best locations to view our colorful fall leaves? Douglas County Parks are a perfect place! From terrific Tamarack to magnificent maples, Douglas County Parks provide some of the best fall leaf viewing around. 
Kensington Rune Stone Park has great viewing spots at the visitor center, the trail and overlook near Star Lake and the south overlook and boardwalk area. 

Spruce Hill Park has a bog running through the middle of the park which is filled with Tamarack that turn golden yellow in the fall. Lake Brophy Wayside Park and the new Lake Brophy County Park offer awe-inspiring views from up high. Get a panoramic view of the lake and the colors at this magical time of year.

Lake Brophy is located just off County Road 82 and County Road 114 (Brophy Landing), about 3.5 miles west of town.
Spruce Hill Park is located off County Road 5 in the northeast part of the county.
Kensington Rune Stone Park is in Solem Township. Travel west on Highway 27 to County Highway 103 and turn south.
